Our third stop on our trip was to Salzburg, Austria, where “The Sound of Music” was filmed and based, and I am absolutely in love with this quaint town. I 100% made a day out of this town to go on the Sound of Music tour, but I left thinking how badly I wanted to go back and how little time we actually had there. So if you’re planning to go to Austria ever, I highly recommend spending at least two days here, if not more.
I’ll be giving a review on “The Sound of Music” tour soon, but wanted to give the details on the outfit I wore first. I love this striped varsity sweater and I had been keeping my eye out on it to be restocked after the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale since it sold out before I could get it then. It finally came back in stock in the color and size I wanted, so I made sure to get it. This long sleeved, ribbed sweater is so comfy and soft and the mauve color is so pretty in person. The material is thin, so don’t depend on this sweater for much warmth. I sized up to a large for more of an oversized look and so that I could wear it off the shoulder.
I bought these black jeggings right before our trip since my last pair got a hole in them, and this pair from Target is perfect! They honestly have the fit of a legging because of how form-fitting they are, but they look like pants with the belt loops and pockets. They’re pretty thick which I love and aren’t see through. The best part is is that they’re only $18! These will for sure be on repeat in the fall and winter to wear with my oversized sweaters!
