The holidays are upon us, and that means holiday parties are just around the corner! To help you with your selection, I’ve come up with three different holiday looks at different price points as well as some other great options which are linked at the bottom!
The first is under $100 and is definitely the most detailed of the three looks. This cocktail dress is super elegant looking especially with the lace detail. I love that the sleeves and shoulders just have the lace cutouts! It is a v-neck but it doesn’t come down too low, so all you’d need is a strapless bra to wear with it. The length is perfect as well and it would be a great option for a work related event. I ordered my normal size small, but it runs a little small so I definitely would size up one, especially if you are curvier.
The second dress is under $60! These ruched dresses are seriously the most flattering on all body shapes. I already own one that doesn’t have the long sleeves but I love that they offer it in different styles so you can wear them all throughout the year. I think the long sleeved dress is perfect for a holiday party and it can be dressed up or down with your accessories. It’s also long enough to wear to a work party. The thing that I love most is that it’s so flattering in the stomach area, and I think this dress looks amazing on pregnant women as well! The material is so soft – it’s probably the comfiest outfit out of the three. I ordered my normal size small and it fits great, but is really form fitting in my butt/hips area, so if you’re curvy and you’d like it to not be so tight in those areas, I’d suggest sizing up one. It’s also available in a bunch of different colors!
The last option is a monochromatic look with a burgundy chenille sweater and satin midi skirt. This sweater is the softest thing on the planet and it would be a nice option if you want to be a little warmer. Both pieces together are under $55 and I love that each piece can be styled differently and worn in other ways. The skirt, which comes in three colors, would also look great paired with a lace cami and a nice blazer. The sweater does have a high-low style and comes a bit cropped, so be prepared to wear high waisted pants/skirts with it. It does run a little oversized as far as the width, not the length. It’s really cute tucked into the skirt and gives it that classier look. Both items run true to size and I’m wearing a small in both for reference.
