I’m back!!!! It feels good to get into a routine again after our two week long trip from Europe. It was a blast, but I definitely needed a short break to get back into the swing of things – not to mention I had to catch up on my 9-5 work while I was away. I will be writing travel guides soon for each of the places we visited on our trip, so be on the lookout!
Ever since we got back from our trip I’ve been thinking that it doesn’t feel like Halloween, but this past weekend we finally did some fall/Halloween activities that put me in the spirit! We went up to the Apple Festival in North Georgia and I got to pick up some fresh homemade apple cider and apple cider donuts. And I look forward to these all year long!!! We then went and visited Burt’s Pumpkin Farm and picked out some pumpkins for us to carve this weekend!
I decided to dress for the fall festivities by wearing this black and white plaid shirt and wore a brown cardigan over it. I paired it with some jeans and some booties. This plaid shirt is hands down the best one I’ve ever worn! It’s so soft and I love that it isn’t really tight in the arms. It does run a little large so if you want a more fitted look, I’d size down. The same thing goes for the cardigan. I did find that it runs a tad bit large and the sleeves seemed to stretch out a little after I wore it. I love that it has pockets and this brown color is the perfect color for fall. I’m wearing a size xs in the plaid shirt and cardigan for reference.
This is one of my favorite looks for not only Halloween but for Fall in general and I can’t wait to wear it more!
